Water Metering:
Since the water moratorium ended in 2015, all wells drilled after this, signed an agreement to participate in the County’s Water Metering program. The agreement passes on at the time of sale to the new owner. A yearly fee of $180 is due by Oct 31 of each year.
TV Assessment:
The TV board is tasked with maintaining the Manashtash tower which sends signal to those who live outside of Ellensburg City limits who access TV channels through an antenna. This once-a-year fee covers the costs to do so. If you do not utilize this service, you must exempt out yearly by completing an exemption request, which is included with your tax statement, and return it to the Treasurer’s office prior to April 30th.
